Sweet nothing compares to you when you are dressed in nothing , in the middle of June. We go down the river to meet our friends, hoping they will keep us happy until the day ends. We are the knights who say we. We are the knights who say we. In stead of I, in stead of me, we say we. My education was all wrong, ive been believing in a lie for much to long. Yes my education it was all wrong , believed the lie for much to long. Clap your hands now, clap your hands. Like you meen it come on! Clap your hands. Clap your hands now just if you agree, that our education was just one out of three! We are the knights who say we. We are the knights who say we. In stead of I, in stead of me, we say we Sweet nothing compares to you when you are dressed in nothing , in the middle of June. We go down the river to meet our friends, hoping they will keep us happy until the day ends.

about

I released this as a single here appearantly, I dont remember, before I released the LP The Truth The Love The Life. It is a sweet song with sweet lyrics and was cowritten with my good friend Kristján Freyr Einarsson. He was imitating and making fun of someone that would be making a pop song, and came up with the start and the first lines, sweet nothing compares to you, dressed in nothing in the middle of june,. Its such a spin on many clichés at once, and the verse was catchy - It stayed with me for a long time and I began adding to it and loving it. I came up with my own meaning for the lyrics that sat well for me, and eventually it became this epic sweet popballad that has the title of my first solo LP. The arrangements of the brass, was masterfully done by Georg Kári Hilmarsson who plays bass also in The Diversion Sessions, and the hypnotic drums by Sigþór Ási glue the song perfectly together. Steingrímur Teague played synth and keys brilliantly also. Enjoy.
